Foundations sized for the job

Piling depth, diameter and spacing depend on the load above (a walkway, a boathouse roof, a lift with a boat on it), the bottom conditions, and the wind and wave exposure. Soft bayou bottoms and open Sound frontage call for very different foundations. We set every piling for the structure it has to carry.

EcoPile composite pilings do not rot, are not attacked by marine borers and do not leach chemicals into the water. For new docks and boathouses where you want the foundation to outlast the rest of the structure, they are hard to beat.
