A boat lift on the Gulf Coast lives in salt, sun and storms. The lifts we put our name behind have to do three things: stand up to saltwater, be quick and safe to use every day, and come from a company that still answers the phone after the sale. Sunstream does all three.

Hidden structure
No exposed motors, gearboxes or side beams blocking your view of the water. On LiftBar the entire lifting mechanism sits inside a single aluminum bar.
High speed
Lift or launch in as little as 30 seconds, so the boat is in the water while you are still loading the cooler.
Safer boarding
The lift can sit close to the dock, as little as 4 inches on Helix2-P, so there is less gap to step across with kids, dogs and gear.
No sway when up
The cradle locks in the up position, so the boat does not swing in the wind. It is quieter and easier on the cables, too.
LiftBar
LiftBar is Sunstream’s newest lift and won an Innovation Award at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. It is the first boat lift to put a ball-screw lifting mechanism entirely inside an aluminum bar, so there is no power pack sitting on your dock and nothing mechanical in your line of sight.
- Arrives pre-assembled and bolts to pilings, a fixed dock or a floating dock, without a crane.
- Charges from a standard 110V outlet or solar, with no AC power run under the water.
- Can be built right into the dock platform, so the boat comes up at deck level.

Helix2-P piling lift
- Fast. Launches in as little as 30 seconds, several times quicker than a typical piling lift.
- Built for salt. Marine-grade aluminum frame, stainless hardware, and optional stainless spindles for saltwater.
- Safer power. Runs off an ordinary 110V outlet with battery backup, so there is no high voltage run to the lift or under the water.
- Easy boarding. Can be installed with as little as a 4-inch gap between your dock and your boat.
- Clean look. No motors, gearboxes or side beams in your view. Short pilings keep the sightline open.
SwiftShield: covered in three steps
SwiftShield is Sunstream’s automatic boat cover. Push a button and the cover arm swings over the boat on the lift; push it again and the cover folds back out of the way. No climbing on the boat, no wrestling with snaps.

A floating hydraulic lift on foam-filled pontoons. It needs very little water under the keel and works at slips, side-ties and moorings.

An automatic boat cover system that protects the boat on the lift without the wrestling match.
Sizes
Every lift comes in several capacities. We size it to your boat’s loaded weight (fuel, gear and all), then add a margin, so the lift is never working at its limit.

Lifting height matters too: LiftBar raises the boat roughly 9 to 12 feet depending on the model, and Helix2-P up to about 15 feet, which helps on docks with big tide swings or storm-surge concerns. Tell us your boat and we will recommend the exact model.
A lift is only as good as the dock under it
Most lift problems we see are really installation problems: pilings that are too short or too small, a lift set in the wrong spot for the water depth, or power run in a way that does not belong near saltwater. Because we build docks and boathouses, we plan the pilings, framing, power and lift together. You get one crew and one point of responsibility.

Lift service and repair
Already have a lift? We service and repair existing lifts too: cables, bunks, motors, adjustments and storm damage. Regular service is part of our maintenance plans, and it is the cheapest way to keep a lift from failing with the boat on it.
