- Materials. Wood, composite and protected options priced side by side.
- Engineering. We coordinate with engineers when the structure or the permit calls for it.
- Permits. We prepare and track the paperwork so you are not chasing agencies.
Marine permits on the Gulf Coast
Most new docks, boathouses, bulkheads and major modifications need a permit before work starts. Depending on the project and location, that can involve the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources in Mississippi, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and other state offices in Alabama, and local building permits. Timelines vary from a few weeks to a few months, so we build that into the schedule from day one.
