Repair or replace?
The answer depends mostly on what is holding the dock up. If the pilings and framing are sound, new decking and hardware can make an old dock feel new. If the pilings are failing at the waterline, SnapJacket can often save them. If the framing and pilings are both gone, a rebuild is usually the better money. We inspect the whole structure before recommending either path.
After a storm
After a hurricane or strong storm, check for loose or missing boards, leaning pilings, shifted sections and damaged lifts, and stay off anything that moves. Take photos for insurance, then send them to us through the assessment form. We can document the damage and give you a clear repair scope.
