Should I repair my dock or replace it?
It depends mostly on the pilings and framing. If they are sound, new decking and hardware can give an old dock years of life. If the pilings are failing at the waterline, SnapJacket protection can often save them. If both are gone, a rebuild is usually the better money. We inspect the whole structure before recommending either path.
Can rotted pilings be repaired without tearing out the dock?
In many cases, yes. SnapJacket encases the damaged section of an existing piling and seals it off from rot and marine borers, without removing the dock above. We have protected more than 2,000 pilings.
Do you sell and install Sunstream boat lifts?
Yes. DockFitter is the Sunstream Boat Lift Dealer for South Mississippi. We sell, install and service Sunstream lifts, including the Helix2-P piling lift, and we can build or upgrade the dock and pilings the lift mounts to.
Do you service lifts you did not install?

Do I need a permit?

How long does a project take?
